Due to technical issues, some of the products on the Alaska Aviation Weather Unit web site may not currently be available. The appropriate parties are working on resolving those issues. While those products are not available, please use the following links to identify other sources of information.

Pilot Weather Briefing
All Alaska Flight Service Stations remain open as per normal working hours. Fairbanks FSS, Juneau FSS, and Kenai FSS are open 24/7.

Volcanic Ash Advisories
The Alaska Aviation Weather Unit and the Anchorage Volcanic Ash Advisory Center will be in a greatly degraded operation over the next few days. Our web page products (e.g. FA, AIRMET, graphics) will not be updated after 9 pm local 3/25.

Critical aviation and volcanic ash products will be provided by the Aviation Weather Center and the Washington VAAC. We will likely hope to resume operations in the near future.
